I wish you all a very happy and healthy day! My name is Sumlut Dau Naw. I am a six grade student at Htoi Ningshawng School. The reason why I want to draw my painting is that right now we, the Kachin people, are being tortured and oppressed by the Burmese army. Our people are innocent, but they are being shot and killed for no reason and we have become internally displaced persons. I felt it in my heart and drew this painting. My goal is to become a doctor. As a doctor, I want to help my fellow Kachin people, and those who are suffering from poverty and also children and elderly people.
