I wish you all a very happy and healthy day! My name is Dumdaw Htu Shan. I am a ninth-grader at Alen Bum School for Internally Displaced Persons. The purpose of creating this art is to highlight the fact that in our Kachin territory, parents and children are forced to separate while fleeing the armed war, and I am very moved by the suffering that our people are experiencing in the pitch darkness, and this art is the consequence of those feelings.
